Welcome to the web site for Loughrea Golf Club. This site has been put together by the members of the club for its own use but also for visitors to get an appreciation of the golf activities in the picturesque town of Loughrea .

There is a long and proud tradition of sporting activities in the town and the development of the golf course is one of the finest examples of the community working together and playing together for their own benefit.

The course itself is parkland but benefits from an excellent terrain of mild hills to create 18 very individual holes. The addition of land to create an 18 hole course in 1992 was further enhanced and lengthened in later years. In particular visitors often compliment holes 14 and 15 and some of the finest in the country.
